| Since it was first published in 1991, Lourdes Magazine has received the Apostolic Blessing of Pope John-Paul II. The Holy Father has sent his best wishes for the spiritual growth of the Editorial Team and all its readers, praying that they will always listen to the Message of Lourdes and help to spread it. The Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes, Mgr Sahuquet, endorsed the Pope’s words, insisting that the magazine should, first of all, be an instrument of communication. Fifteen years later, Bishop Jacques Perrier, Fr. Horacio Brito and the General Manager, Mr. Francis Dehaine, continue to support the expansion of the magazine. |

François VAYNE, who is the director of the magazine as well as its editor says; "No matter how far Lourdes Magazine travels, what is important to Lourdes Magazine is the way people get to know each other. This is how we try to carry out our work in the light of what Our Lady said to Bernadette; "What I have to say to you does need to be written down". Lourdes Magazine is, perhaps, a drop in the great sea of evangelisation, but it is a drop where the whole of heaven is reflected. |

Daniel CASTANG organises the Lourdes Magazine sales team who work from kiosks in the Sanctuary. He canvasses advertisers : "These partners in exceptional generosity, some of whom have been with us since the beginning!" From February to October he promotes Lourdes Magazine with Pilgrimage Directors whom he admires greatly; "without them, the magazine would not be as widely known. This is their magazine, they are its ambassadors all over the world." |

Martine KORPAL, secretary, is at the heart of the running of Lourdes Magazine. She is a constant link between the translators, proof-readers, photographers, journalists, graphic designers and, above all, the readers; "They call to talk, to escape from their loneliness. In contacting us, they are contacting Lourdes and asking us to present their needs to Our Lady of Lourdes". |

Isabelle Dumoulin is responsible for the mail order sales of Lourdes Magazine and for the computerised follow-up of sales made to pilgrims in the kiosks of the Sanctuary. “I like hearing the pilgrims sharing their almost childish impatience to receive the latest number of Lourdes Magazine.” she tells us, “or those emotional people who tell me that Lourdes Magazine is a breath of fresh air for them in their difficulties.” Isabelle shows a deep respect for each pilgrim who discreetly but with a deep conviction, contributes to the spread of the Message of Lourdes.
